Good news….one of our songs was chosen to be on the Solutions For Dreamers compilation album alongside The Wailers and some other great artists! The song is called “Movin’ On” so it’s now available online here: http://oniricrecords.com/. All proceeds go to the World Food Programm (WFP), a non-profit organization dedicating to fighting hunger worldwide. Check it out…you can listen the the album below.
Check out some great surfing footage on the 68th Parallel…even better, Red Handed….a song off of Road Sodas (our first album) was used in the First Ascent video blog that captured it.

Here’s a little video footage of my trip to AK…can’t wait to go back next year!
Some things are worth waiting for. For me, heli skiing was one of those things and after 26 years of skiing it was finally time. A few months ago Reggie Crist asked me if I would like to do some music for First Ascent, a new ski/mountaineering clothing line, which eventually turned into an invite to ski and play music in Haines, Alaska. Although I have skied my entire life I had never been heli skiing until this week. The entire experience blew my mind, changed my perspective on the sport, and gave me a whole new respect for Big Mountain skiing. Upon arrival we skied 4 out of 5 blue bird days of untracked powder that was often up to our waists on pitches steeper than anything I’ve ever skied before. On the last two days I had the opportunity to ski with Tom Wayes who guided us through 6 first descents, all in the Chilkat range. Some of the names of these descents became: Tomb Raider, Warthog, Ball Crazy Dog, and Sanitarium. It was a life-changing week to say the least and I can’t wait to see how it affects my songwriting. Check out SEABA, if you’re interested in a Big Mountain adventure!
After a long month in Whistler for the Olympics it feels good to be home. What an experience working with yahoo sports, skiing whistler/blackcomb, and playing shows in Vancouver and Whistler Village. One of my best friends growing up, Steve Holcomb, won the gold in 4 man bobsled which was truly amazing. He has worked his ass off for a long time and deserves every second of his success. Since Canada we’ve played a couple fun shows around Utah and Colorado and skied a little powder in between. Had a great day of of skiing in Steamboat two days ago, hit the hot springs on the way out of town and right now I’m hanging with my producer Marc Benning in Colorado Springs working on some new songs. His 2 year old daughter, Lulu, just played some piano for us which I am going to post a link to soon…I couldn’t resist shooting some video. Next stop for us is Harry O’s in Park City for St. Patty’s day, then Winter Park, Colorado on the 27th. More to come…Bryon
